Apollo Home Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Health Care Assistant to deliver exceptional standards of care in the home of our service user in the Congham area.

For this position we can offer the following shifts;

Days 8am - 10pm Waking nights 10pm - 8am

Our service user is 52 years old and is totally reliant on her Health Care Assistant for all of her clinical and personal care needs. She has learning disabilities, epilepsy and sleep apnoea. Her condition means that she is partially deaf and non-verbal, so she signs using Makaton. You will be providing assistance with personal care, moving and handling and diet and nutrition.

Despite her complex care requirements, our service user loves to go out for meals and shopping, so companionship is equality important in this package of care. We are looking for female Health Care Assistants who have a strong and mature outlook. At least 6 months previous care experience is essential.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Makaton
• Epilepsy Care
