Job description

Apollo Home Healthcare has a position available for an experienced Health Care Assistant to provide the highest standards of care in the home of our service user based in Stoke, Holy Cross. For this position we can offer full time hours with 12 hour day and 12 hour night shifts.

Our service user has a C2 spinal injury and she relies on a Health Care Assistant in her home to do everything that she would do herself. She requires support with her personal care, preparing meals, administering her medication, supporting with household chores, moving and handling and helping her to access the community.

As a result of her spinal injury our service user is ventilated via a tracheostomy and has a catheter in situ. We can provide training on these specific clinical tasks.

Our service user is very sociable and has lots of friends so will like going out to see them. She likes to look nice so will like having her make up done and loves being with her children and going to school events.
