Job description

Apollo Home Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Health Care Assistant to deliver care throughout the night to our service user who lives in Culcheth. This position can be full or part time.

For this role you will be supporting a young gentleman who has epilepsy and a condition that causes airway obstruction. He suffers from frequent seizures and so he needs a Care Assistant to monitor him throughout the night to ensure his comfort and safety. This includes the use of a nebuliser and oral suctioning.

He enjoys lots of interaction from his care team and so we require applicants who are happy to sing, dance and engage in lots of fun activities!

The area he lives in has restricted bus routes therefore travelling on public transport is not ideal and drivers are preferred.

We have night shifts available from 10:00pm to 8:00pm between Monday and Sunday.

Our ideal candidate will be a driver and will be able to demonstrate previous experience working within a care setting for a minimum of 6 months. It would be advantageous if you have complex clinical care experience, but this is not essential as we offer full comprehensive, bespoke training for all clinical tasks.

This is a personally rewarding role where you can make a difference to our service users everyday life.

Why work for Apollo Home Healthcare?

We specialise in the provision of highly complex clinical care services delivered in the homes of service users.

We are passionate about delivering the highest standard of care and we recognise that our Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers are integral to doing this. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive:

  • Flexible hours to suit
  • Confirmed rotas
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Holiday pay
  • Full clinical training
  • Opportunity to work with other service users in the area
  • Ongoing professional training and development

If you have the experience we are looking for, but the hours may not suit you on this position, please do not hesitate to call and speak to our dedicated recruitment team on 01902 847111 or email on recruitment@apollohomehealthcare.com
