Job description

Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting experienced Care Assistants to provide care in the home of our service user who lives in Harborne, Birmingham.

Our service user is a 44-year-old lady who has a Brain Injury. She is heavily reliant on her care team to meet her needs which include delivering personal care and moving and handling, administering medication, caring for pressure sores and carrying out regular re-positioning.

She has a PEG in situ and requires oral suctioning.

We are able to offer 5 nights per week between the hours of 8pm - 8am.

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide long term, one to one support to our service user. You will be issued a monthly rota which ensures you receive regular working hours and are able to build strong relationships with our service user and their family.

Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months previous care experience, ideally within complex care.

We will provide any additional clinical training required and this will be tailored specifically to the service user in which you are supporting.
