Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a toddler with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user has chronic lung disease and is ventilated 24/7 as he is unable to breathe well enough on his own.
His complex care needs include but are not limited to tracheostomy care, Gastrostomy (PEG) care, personal care.
During the day he attends nursery on a part time basis, he loves being outdoors and on a typical day shift you will be engaging in outdoor activities such as playing in the garden or going to the park.
He enjoys playing games and having stories read to him at nighttime.
A genuine interest in working with children and young people is essential for this position.
We provide full time care for this family and so we are looking for Health Care Assistants who can join his care team and commit to either day or night shifts in the long term.

• Medication Administration

• Moving and Handling
Desirable Experience
• Oral & Nasal Suctioning
• Gastrostomy Care
We have the following shifts available;
• Monday to Sunday - Days and Waking Nights - 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
