Job description

Are you experienced in delivering Health Care / Social Care within the community or a residential / nursing care setting?

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care?

We are expanding our team in Wolverhampton and require experienced Care Assistants who are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our clients and their families.

Our service user is a 2 year old boy who was born prematurely and has a chronic lung disease. He is fully ventilated via his tracheostomy and will require frequent oral and nasal suctioning.

We can offer a monthly rota & shifts to suit your needs over the following days and hours:

*Monday to Sunday days and waking nights - 7-7

You will be required to deliver his personal care, administer medication including nebuliser administration and also administer his nutrition via gastrostomy.

He loves being outdoors and on a typical day shift, you will be engaging in outdoor activities such as playing in the garden or going to the park.

He enjoys playing games and having stories read to him at night time.

Our ideal applicants will demonstrate 6 months previous experience working within care, preferably within complex clinical care.

It is essential that you are able to evidence tracheostomy care and ideally, you will have worked with children previously.

We offer full comprehensive clinical training.

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst you will be delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family.
