Job description

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare are seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support an adult female with her complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user has an acquired brain injury and requires 24 hour support from her care team.

She is non-verbal and can become distressed when trying to communicate her needs, our ideal candidate will be someone who can get to know her and her wants and needs.

She particularly enjoys having her family around her and watching TV and listening to music.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience

• Medication Administration

• Personal Care

• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)

• Acquired Brain Injury awareness

• Oral Suctioning

We have the following shifts available;

• Day shifts from 8am to 8pm

• Night shifts from 8pm to 8am

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and really making an impact on her day to day life.
