Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a happy and content little boy who lives with his family in Preston, they are a very close family, and he loves spending lots of time with his lovely parents and big sister.

He loves cuddles and will reach out for them from his family and care team. He also enjoys clapping and interacting with people, listening to music, and watching his favourite tv programmes on CBeebies especially Mr Tumble. He always has ‘Woody’ from Toy Story with him wherever he goes, as it is his most treasured toy.

Before bed, he likes to be read a story to help get him to sleep. Throughout the night you will monitor him to make sure he is safe and support with his clinical care needs.

This is a fantastic care package to work on and we are looking for committed individuals who have a genuine interest / passion in working with children and young people.

Due to our service users wishes, we can not accept smokers for this role.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Working with children / young people
• Tracheostomy Care
• Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)

We have the following shifts available;

• Night shifts from 10pm to 8am
