Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs, at his home in Sprowston, Norwich.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives with his family and they have a great relationship with his care team.

He likes to watch TV, films, enjoys outings with his family and is a dedicated supporter of the football team Arsenal.

We require applicants who are patient and understanding as this gentleman is unable to communicate verbally. He often communicates via speak system on his iPad or through signs and gestures.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience

• Medication Administration

• Personal Care

• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Spinal Injury Knowledge

• Nebuliser Care

• Oral Suctioning

• Tracheostomy Management

• Gastrostomy Care

• Autonomic Dysreflexia Knowledge

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time Days - between 7am - 8pm
• Part Time Nights - between 7pm - 9:30am
• Part Time Sleep Nights - 8pm - 8am
