Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a team of Support Workers to support a young gentleman with his complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is young man who wants and needs to get home to his family in Glossop, he is currently residing in a respite establishment in Cheshire and unfortunately due to the pandemic he has not been able to see he his family and loved ones face to face for some time.
He is a sociable guy who likes to spend quality time with his family and friends at his home. He particularly enjoys getting out and about and having a laugh and banter with his friends.
Sport and Football are a huge part of his life; he has been playing since he was young and is a massive Manchester United fan, he loves to attend Old Trafford and watch the game.
He has many other hobbies and interests which include, watching several TV series and films, men’s fashion, trips out and socialising with friends.
Drivers are essential for this role and must be confident in driving an adapted vehicle as you will be required to take him out support his very Social support plan.
This is a fantastic role where you will work in a 2:1 team, play a vital role in the transition from the rehabilitation centre back home to his family and friends and support with his ongoing rehabilitation.
All shadowing is held at the respite centre in Cheshire which you will be required to attend – travel expenses will be paid.
