Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives with his family in Garstang and requires a team to support him through the night.

He is a content, happy little boy who loves spending time with his family and friends, engaging in playtime activities and listening to music.

He is unable to communicate verbally and does so via Makaton.

Meeting his social needs and helping to create memories for him and his family is a really important part of this role. Therefore, it is essential that you have a genuine interest in working with children and young people and are happy to engage in the things he enjoys.

Our ideal applicant will be able to evidence hands on clinical care and have previous experience of caring for children.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• Clinical Care Experience

Desirable Experience

• Tracheostomy Care
• Ventilation Care
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
• Children's Care

We have the following shifts available;

• Night shifts from 10pm - 8am
