Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a young adult with complex care needs, at his home in Norwich.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is very sociable and enjoys going out and about into the local community. He likes to go to the cinema, watch and support his local football team and enjoys spending time at his family caravan.

We are looking for someone with similar interests, who can engage in social activities and can also work alongside his family members to deliver the highest standards of care.

Please note, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving our service user’s adapted vehicle.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• PEG Feeding
• Understanding of Epilepsy & Seizure Management
• Understanding of Cerebral Palsy

We have the following shifts available;

• Days - 8am - 10pm
• Waking Nights - 8pm – 8am
• Sleeping Nights - 10pm - 8am

We can offer increased hours during half term
