Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new position?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to care for a young boy with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a lovely young boy who lives with his family in Bury.

He has some highly complex care needs and he requires a care team to support him throughout the night on a full-time basis.

When at home he enjoys spending time watching TV, playing games on his iPad and generally having lots of fun!

He can be very cheeky and has a brilliant sense of humour, so it is important that you enjoys lots of laughs and have an outgoing, bubbly personality.

You will have a genuine interest for working with children and be passionate about helping him to fulfil his life goals.

To enable you to support his complex needs we provide extensive bespoke training for all his clinical needs.

Please note, you must hold a UK Driving Licence and be comfortable driving an adapted vehicle (manual).

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care / support work experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

• Tracheostomy Care
• Ventilation Management
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
• Able to communicate via Makaton

We have the following shifts available:

• Nights - 7:45pm - 8:00am
