Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a women with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is in her early 30’s and is a big fan of Burnley FC she particularly like going along to watch football matches when she is able to do so.

She enjoys arts and crafts, going bowling and playing board games and computer games with her carers. She likes keeping up with her favourite soaps and all of the latest celebrity gossip!

Prior to the lockdown restrictions socialising was really important to her and she liked meeting up with her friends as often as she could, this was usually at the local bingo hall where they got together every week.

Our ideal applicant will be likeminded and have similar interests, have experience in managing challenging behaviour and be able to use positive reinforcement techniques.

Drivers are essential for this role in order to support her social needs when restrictions are lifted. You must be comfortable driving an adapted van.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Tracheostomy Care
• Ventilation Management
