Job description

Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person’s everyday life?

Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?

We are looking to recruit experienced Support Workers to provide care to a teenage boy who has complex care needs.

Our Service User lives with his Parents and siblings in Frinton-on-Sea and requires a care team to support him throughout the day & night.

Your role will include, but is not limited to; carrying out personal care, careful moving and handling, clinical observations and fulfilling his sensory, play and social needs when required.

This is such a fulfilling role that will give you job satisfaction by making a difference to of our service users everyday life.

Essential Experience Required

  • 6 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Epilepsy Care & Seizure Management
  • Knowledge of Dysphagia
  • Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
  • Oral Suctioning

We have the following shifts available;

  • Mornings - 7am - 11am
  • Evenings - 6pm - 9pm
  • Waking Nights - between 8pm - 9am

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and really making an impact on her day to day life.
