Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to support a young girl with complex care needs, at her home in Northampton.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a lovely young girl who lives at home with her family and younger sibling.

She enjoys interacting with her care team in activities such as music therapy and sensory related playtime. She also likes to play on her iPad.

Our service user’s condition has affected her muscle tone and mobility and her care team will be involved in encouraging physio stretches, exercises and therapies daily.

Our ideal applicant will have a genuine interest for working with children and be happy to engage and partake in the activities she enjoys. You will also have a calm and re-assuring nature, in order to encourage sleep, as our service user can become un-settled during the night.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Nasogastric Care (NG Tube)
• Speech & mobility rehabilitation

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time Evenings - 3pm - 9.30pm
• Part Time Nights - 9pm - 7am
