Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a young gentleman with complex care needs at his family home in Widnes.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a very sociable, humorous young gentleman who loves to have fun!
He has a progressive genetic disorder and requires a care team to support with his needs throughout the day, you will assist in promoting his independence.
He enjoys accessing the community with his friends and family, one of his favourite things to do is go for picnics.
When he is at home, he likes to play on his computer, he particularly likes playing racing games.
Studying Computer Game Design is one of his long-term goals.
American cars and countries are also something that our service user has a keen interest in, it would be advantageous if you shared similar interests to our service user.
Please note a UK Drivers Licence is required for this role
Essential Experience Required
• UK Drivers Licence
• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
We have the following shifts available;
• Part Time day shifts (Weekends may be included)
