Would you like to progress your career by working with a lovely boy who has complex care needs.
We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our service user at his family home in Leominster.
Our service user is a young boy who is supported 24 hours a day in his own home, by his family and care team.
He is a happy and very smiley young boy, who responds very well to his care team and their interactions.
You will be required to accompany him to school, engage in general play at home, and assist with him accessing the community.
We require committed individuals who can provide continuity of care to this young boy and his family as you work very closely and form a strong working relationship.
This is a great opportunity where you will be using your valuable skills and develop into a Children’s Complex Care Assistant.
We offer comprehensive training allowing you to enhance your experience. Training can include but is not limited to;
• Tracheostomy Care
• Ventilation management
• Personal Care
• Moving & Handling
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG feed)
We can offer a variety of shifts covering Days and Nights over 7 days a week and require all applicants to work flexibly across these.
It is essential that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst you will be delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and his family.
We specialise in the provision of highly complex clinical care services delivered in the homes of service users.
