Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young male with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives at home with his family in Sheffield and requires a care team to support with his complex care needs.

He has a rare genetic condition and severe learning disabilities – it is essential that you have clear communication skills for this role.

You will be required to support him throughout the night, ensuring his comfort and safety always. This will include elements of personal care, repositioning and gastrostomy care.

It would be advantageous if you are able to converse in Turkish as this is the family’s first language, however this is not essential.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience

• Medication Administration

• Personal Care

• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• PEG Feeding

• Learning Disability awareness

• Turkish speaking

We have the following shifts available;

• Variety of day shifts available
