Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to support a young woman with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a lovely lady who lives at home with her family in Lincoln.
She attends a day centre during the week where she enjoys socialising and spending time with her friends.
She enjoys lots of sensory activities with her care team which includes texture play with play doh, sound and visual stimulation such as having songs sang to her, listening to music and watching the TV.
Her bedroom looks over the garden and she often enjoys gazing out at the sky and watching the birds.
She is non-verbal and likes for her carers to be tactile in their approach, such as stroking her hand whilst having conversations.
During the night shift you will be assisting with her bedtime routine, carrying out personal care and carry out clinical interventions as required.
Please note that due to the location of our service user, drivers are preferred and must have access to a vehicle.
