Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to support a child with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives at home with her parents and siblings in Nottingham.

She is a very sociable girl who enjoys the company of her family and care team.

During the week she attends school where she likes spending time with her friends and teachers.

You will be fulfilling her clincal, play and social needs and therefore, you must be happy to engage in the activities she enjoys such as arts and crafts, baking and visiting the local park.

She also likes to spend quality time at home with her sisters having pamper evenings.

Throughout the night, you will be tending to her personal care, carrying out regular repositioning and pain management, along with other clinical interventions as required.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Muscular Dystrophy
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
• Oral Suctioning
• Nebuliser Care
• Cough Assist

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time Nights – 19:00 - 07:00
