Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a lady with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a lovely lady who lives with her Husband in Oswestry.

She enjoys watching TV and particularly loves quiz shows, doing cross words and getting out and about in the community, with the help of her care team.

We require an experienced Healthcare Assistant who can support with her personal care, administering medication and careful moving and handling.

Our ideal applicant will be patient and understanding as this lady can have difficulty communicating. It is important you allow her the time she needs to communicate to understand her needs.

Applicants must be reliable as continuity of care is extremely important to our service user.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Dystonia
• Knowledge of Dyspagia
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time Days (Short Calls)
• Approx 10 hours per week
• Includes weekends
