Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a gentleman with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate people who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is an independent gentleman who lives alone in Nottingham.

He has a dry sense of humour and we are looking for a like-minded individual who can support and encourage his wish to remain as independent as possible.

He will require a level of support to ensure this is achievable as although he has mobility, he can become unsteady his feet and is experiencing reduced function of his hands.

Throughout the night, you will be required to support with all his care needs, whilst promoting a restful environment to aid sleep.

It is important that you carry out regular observations, always remaining alert and attentive.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Motor Neuron Disease
• Diabetes Awareness
• Ventilation Management
• Cough Assist

We have the following shifts available;

• Full Time Nights
• 9.30pm – 6.30am
