Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs, at his home in Lincoln.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is an adult male who has a spinal injury and as a result he is ventilated via a tracheostomy.

He requires a team of Healthcare Assistants who can provide complex care that includes tracheostomy care and ventilator management, administer his medication, provide catheter care, support with mobility and personal care.

He loves his garden, being outside, spending time on his computer and going out in the community. We are looking for Health Care Assistants who can get in involved and help him to enjoy the things he loves.

Due to the location of our service user, we require applicants to be drivers with access to their own vehicle.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Medication Administration
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• Drivers with access to a vehicle

Desirable Experience

• Spinal Injury Knowledge
• Knowledge of Autonomic Dysreflexia
• Ventilation Management
• Tracheostomy Care
• Catheter Care

We have the following shifts available;

• Days - 11am - 7pm

Applicants must be flexible to cover a mixture of day & night shifts
