Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a very active toddler old who lives at home with his family in Nottingham.
He enjoys lots of social interaction and engagement with his care team and due to this, we are looking for someone who has a real passion for working with children and is happy to promote fun and get involves in his interests.
You will be engaging in playtime activities such as painting, drawing, messy play and playing outdoors, when the weather permits.
This young boy loves to communicate but due to his condition, he cannot always be understood.
He may make noises or cry to indicate his wants and needs and we require you to encourage communication and be able interpret his facial expressions and body language.
Our ideal applicant will be committed, reliable, flexible and able to build excellent relationships with our service user and his family.
