Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for a new position?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to assist a lady with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are committed and able to work with our service user on a long term, ongoing basis.

You will be passionate about your job, enjoy delivering one to one support and be able to build positive relationships with our service user and her family.

Our service user lives in Loddon with her partner and their young daughter and requires support on a part time basis.

You will be assisting with her day to day living and domestic duties such as shopping and laundry.

She has full mobility and can carry out tasks independently however, she may require prompting, encouragement or a helping hand as she can have episodes of memory loss. You will always be maintaining her safety and security.

When at home, she enjoys cooking, baking and listening to music. Her favourite band is the Foo Fighters – she loves to have a dance along to their songs!

She also likes spending time in her garden in the summer, enjoying the sunshine and having a water fight and lots of fun with her partner and daughter.

It is important for her care team include her daughter in the things she enjoys and allow them to enjoy fun activities together.

This role starts at 5:15am to ensure that Support Workers are present to supervise her daughter whilst her partner attends work.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care / support worker experience

Desirable Experience

• Brain Injury Knowledge
• Seizure Management
• Rescue Medication

We have the following shifts available;

• Part Time Weekdays
• 05:15am – 18:30pm
• Shifts can be flexible
