Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced Support Worker to support a gentleman on a part time basis.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a lovely gentleman who lives at home with his wife. He enjoys his own company, spending his time listening to music and soap operas; he particularly enjoys listening to ‘The Archers’.

You will be supporting with his morning routine, which includes his personal care and dressing, as well as carrying out any household domestic duties that are required.

Throughout the day, you will be required to prepare food and drinks ensuring his nutrition and hydration needs are met.

Drivers are essential for this role as you will be accompanying him to attend his appointments, collecting prescriptions & groceries and taking him for drives out in the countryside, which he often likes to do.

Essential Experience Required

• 6 months previous care experience
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• UK Driving Licence

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Vascular Dementia

We have the following shifts available;

• 9am – 7pm
• Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday
