Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to care for a young boy with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a lovely young boy who lives with his family in Bury. He has highly complex care needs and requires a care team to support him 24/7.
He requires a team who are reliable and can commit to the shifts on an ongoing basis, this very important when providing his continuous care.
During weekday days, you will accompany him to school and participate in his activities and lessons.
When at home you will spend time with him doing the things, he likes such as watching TV, playing games on his iPad and generally having lots of fun.
Throughout the night you will support with all aspects of his routine and monitor him whilst he is sleeping.
At all times you will ensure his wellbeing and clinical interventions are managed appropriately.
He can be very cheeky and has a brilliant sense of humour, so it is important that you enjoy lots of laughs and have an outgoing, bubbly personality.
You will have a genuine interest for working with children and be passionate about helping him to fulfil his life goals.
To enable you to support his complex needs we provide extensive bespoke training for all his clinical needs.
