Are you currently working with children and looking for a new role?
Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person’s everyday life?
Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support a young toddler who lives with his family and siblings in Droitwich.
You will be fulfilling his clinical, play and social needs, and you must be happy to take part in the things he enjoys.
Playtime and interaction are a big part of this role and he particularly enjoys engaging in sensory based activities with lights and colours.
He experiences infrequent seizures and has a visual impairment along with limited communication. It is important that his care team can understand and interpret his wants and needs to avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated.
This is a great opportunity where you will be using your valuable skills from your gained experience and progressing into a Children’s Complex Care Assistant.
Please note, due to the location of our service user it is essential that you are a driver with access to a vehicle.
We offer comprehensive training allowing you to enhance your experience of working with children by working in a more clinical role. Training can include but is not limited to;
