Who we work with - Apollo Home Healthcare

Who we work with

We are trusted providers of complex healthcare services in the home for local Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Case Managers, Local Authorities and Private Clients and their families across the UK.

We work closely with our clients, their families, funding bodies and legal representatives to provide a complex care service that helps those with life limiting and long-term needs and conditions to live as independently as possible and achieve all their aspirations along the way.

Dedicated local hubs and teams

Our dedicated and experienced local teams are committed to ensuring that we consistently deliver a high quality, complex home healthcare service that is centered around our client’s clinical, personal and social needs.

Key to our success are our six local operational hubs located across the UK and our central office team, which enable us to offer a flexible, local and personalised complex healthcare service to meet the needs of our clients.

Our clients can be assured that they are on first name terms with our local care and support teams.

Connecting skills, expertise and knowledge to offer quality care services

Our purpose has always been to provide a specialist home care service to those with life-limiting and complex needs that we would be happy for our own family members to receive.

That’s why we’re committed to delivering the highest quality care using the skills, expertise and knowledge of our team to offer the best standards of personalised care at home.

We have a robust governance and policy framework in place that ensures our Nurse-led care is provided safely, to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations. This allows us to continually monitor our care services and respond quickly and effectively to guidance and feedback, ensuring we continue to put the people we support and our standards of service to them at the heart of everything we do.

Apollo Home Healthcare has embraced what have become known as ‘the 6 Cs’, a set of values laid out by the NHS for all health and social care staff.

The 6 Cs are the foundation upon which care is delivered to all our clients to ensure that our care is always person-centred and safe. For this reason, we have adopted the 6 Cs as our core values through which all our care services are delivered.

Commissioners

We work hard to build strong relationships and partnerships with all the Commissioners across the locations we work within. We currently work with over 90 ICBs alongside commissioners, the NHS continuing healthcare teams, community teams and Commissioning Support Units (CSUs). We also work with Local Authorities, Children’s Disability Teams, Social Workers and Private Case Managers.

We believe that partnerships based on trust and open and honest dialogue result in the best outcomes.

With the emphasis on quality and clinical excellence, we deliver nurse-led complex care in the home through efficient and cost-conscious delivery models. Our teams focus on facilitating outcomes and lifestyle choices; not the disability of our clients.

Our complex care packages are nurse-led and we can provide healthcare assistants and support workers and Registered Nurses who are all trained specifically in the individual needs of our client. We provide ongoing training and development to all our staff, arranging bespoke training where required.

We currently work on NHS standard contracts, local framework agreements as well as spot purchase. We also provide care and support to individuals who have their funds as a direct payment or Personal Health Budget (PHB). If you are a recipient of a PHB you can find more information here on how we can help.

Our pricing is based on a comprehensive clinical assessment, providing care according to our client’s needs and offer services to Commissioners based on bespoke weekly or annual budgets.

Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Clients

Providing complex healthcare, rehabilitation and social care packages to clients who have sustained personal injuries, at the beginning or during the litigation process, can have different needs compared to our more traditional continuing healthcare clients.

Therefore we have specifically developed our services for individuals affected by personal injuries and managed by Case Managers and Personal Injury Deputies. These services are available across England coordinated by our local office teams.
