We want to say a huge thank you to our care teams for braving the adverse weather conditions of Storm Goretti to put the needs of our clients first.

Your dedication truly embraces our values of care, courage, commitment, communication, compassion, and competence, and reflects everything we stand for.

Your efforts have a profound impact on our clients living with complex clinical needs, and ensures they continue to receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care, even in the most challenging circumstances.

We also want to thank our office teams, who braved the adverse weather conditions to ensure our frontline staff are fully supported from behind the scenes. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Thank you again to everyone for your commitment, resilience, and compassion. 💚

We want to say a hug

We’re incredibly proud to share that our lovely client, Gemma, has been nominated for the Partnership of the Year Award through Retraining of Racehorses.

This award celebrates the special bond between former racehorses and their owners or riders, focusing on the connection and the positive impact the horse has on a person’s life, and Gemma’s partnership with her horse, Optimal Spirit (Charlie), truly reflects this.

Gemma’s journey with Charlie began in 2015, when she met him at the yard where she worked. Intended to be sold on, this former racehorse fresh from the field quickly stole her heart. Together, they competed in several disciplines, with Gemma becoming a dedicated supporter of RoR.

In 2021, Gemma sadly sustained a high-level spinal cord injury, leaving her tetraplegic with no functional movement from the shoulders down. Charlie became her lifeline and motivation to leave the house. Despite being unable to ride or perform simple tasks in his care, he remains her favourite place to be.
Charlie lifts Gemma’s spirits every single day. He is her reason to push herself to her limits and ultimately, he is more than just a horse to her, he is her heart horse. 💚

Let’s celebrate the incredible bond between Gemma and Charlie!

Voting is open now and closes on Friday 9th January. Please follow the link to cast your vote and show your support. Every vote counts!

Christmas celebrations at our Central office! 🎄

Our Central office teams came together for a fantastic festive lunch filled with laughter and cheer! We enjoyed delicious turkey baps, indulged in some gooey Christmas brownies, exchanged gifts with Secret Santa around the tree, and tested our knowledge in a fun Christmas quiz.

It was the perfect way to celebrate the season and wrap up the year as a team. Here’s to more great moments in 2026!
